Around 1900, Johann Georg Frey, the founder of the GANSLOSER Destillery, discovered his passion and talent for experimenting with local fruits of the Swabian Alb. In 1905 he made his passion his profession and opened the manufactory for fine spirits.
Since then, a lot has changed on the Swabian Alb, but the essential factors have stayed the same. According to the well-proven recipe the fine brandies, spirits, and liqueurs are prepared entirely natural without the addition of nature-identical substances. The process of production is characterized by a high level of accuracy, a great demand for creativity, and with love in detail. High quality fruits from the world’s best areas of cultivation are of essential importance.
Thanks to the continual innovative spirit the product range of new fine spirits has grown continuously through the decades. Today GANSLOSER experiments with great enthusiasm and creates rarities like the GANSLOSER ginger brandy, hazelnut spirit, or hazelnut cream liqueur. In order to produce its high quality products most modern quality management is as important as the traditional priciples.
